The big pharmas are supported by Republicans, too. Otherwise, how would that stupid Medicare program that benefits THEM and not the people have passed.

My parents inherited quite a bit of XOM from my grandfather (on my mom's side of the family)...I've been trying to get them to sell it too...XOM is in the hot seat now and will have trouble keeping all their stakeholders happy going forward...I like the smaller oil companies -- especially those based in Canada.

btw, Big Pharma is in bed with the GOP...I used to work for Merck quite a few years ago when I came out of college -- they were doing well as a company BUT they always had a very active Political Action Committee.
