Hawk, I'd be more interested in where my unaccounted for tax dollars went [$billions] than wasting time hunting down BigFoot. If there really are some missing WMDs, it's reasonable to try to find them. But I suspect there aren't many, or any and that paperwork was made up, like body counts in Vietnam, to make those in charge look good.

"How many WMDs has your department produced this year Mr War Minister" asks Saddam.

"Sir, your most amazing Highness and Generally Perfect Supreme Being, second only to Allah and ahead of Mohammed, peace be upon him and me, though I humbly am not allowed to believe so only if your ..."

"Okay, okay, enough of that, let's see the report".

Do you think the report would say "We didn't get around to making some more. Tell Saddam to get a real job."?

No, there would be WMDs from horizon to horizon.

Did Arafat always tell the truth? Arabs make things up and talk in superlatives. Words are near enough to reality for them. I hasten to add for simpletons, that such racist generalisations don't hold true for all cases. A lot of people can't understand that. Of course they don't have a monopoly on that cultural norm. Even in the USA one can find people like that. Saddam's troops would have good incentive to tell him that things were going well. Baghdad Bob for example.

But apparently folks like you don't care enough to demand that he find out where they [unaccounted for chemical and biological weapons] are, right??

Have you forgotten? Bush is the decider. The last time I recall Bush being asked about the unaccounted for WMD, his response was: "What difference does it make?" The Commander in Chief has made the decision. Stand up and salute.

Right now Bush's priority is immigration reform. To make sure the 10-20 million illegals get to stay in the US while you get to stay in Iraq. The US military in Iraq should start learning to sing the National Anthem in Spanish. You'll fit in better when [or if] you return.

Another priority for Bush is making sure that UAE owns a piece of our defense industry. It helps balance the trade deficit. When you need a part for an Abrams, you may just have to turn to the UAE.
