The original was a product of societal evolution being impacted by renowned thinkers in the age of enlightenment, unencumbered by the imposition of authority from and existing state. Seems we have been slipping backwards instead of advancing. We were able to advance from the Articles of Confederation, why do we have no faith in another leap forward for the sake of human liberty. Who? Lets select those renowned philosophers of our day who stand tall to represent the heros of justice and liberty.
