I agree. His conservative leanings have not been kept under a bushel while on Fox. His criticisms are valid but most could be applied to the right wing as well.

There are some valid liberal issues that are timely and deserve to be raised in a positive light. My criticism of the Democratic party over the last decade is with regards to their bent toward bashing everything Bush and republican to the point of interfering with some efforts that are noble and for the good of the realm, while allowing some worthy liberal issues to simply wane in neglect. That has little or nothing to do with Tony Snow.

Setting all that aside for now, this is a new job. His role is to provide a decent representation of the White House to the press.

I am still willing to wait and see how it goes before automatically branding him in deceit.
