if its true, she gets nailed just like you. If you agree with her that carseats and helmets for kids should be at the discretion of the parents you are in the same boat. Problem is that what you consider freedom has little to do with its meaning. The only time you can make a valid point is with second amendment issues because they are in the constitution--but there is not one word about car registration, or safety rules and regs. I agree that the govt can get heavy handed if unchecked. Seat belts are not that. Laws against cell phones while driving are not. And so on. Just because you have an extreme libertarian view doesnt mean that its somehow its enshrined in the constitution.
