Movements into and out of GLD usually have had a value of $50 million dollars and have been mostly around 3.1 tons or multiples of that.

Lessie: 3.1 tons @ 32 151 troy ounces/ ton = 99 668, might we say hundred tousend?
I need to check the prospectus, such a round number is suspect, and could be a provision of the ETF's management rules.

Fwiw, leave time to time: if the rules of the GLD are followed, warehouse stocks for the SLV will appear Monday, as per close of Friday on the Nymex site nymex.com

george, thank you for the points.

i keep in mind that we have had a tech bubble, housing bubble, stock bubble, debt bubble ... and now, what is left to be bubbled?

cannot think of a single thing, except all things that are actually things :0)

gold and silver have good track records, and so we best stay traditional, and hold true to ancient teachings ;0)
