i am impressed with sales and orders for replacement tools which will really drive the number.

a friend was at local small hospital for a pr dinner. She was discharged the week prior for artery blockage. i assume she got a free ticket. well she also invests in isrg and asked the speaker about robotic surgery. his reply we have been reviewing a davinci robot for surgery for the last year and finally got money put in the budget this year for purchase.

It brings confidence as an investor to hear small hospitals are buying a da vinci machine. It would appear we are early investing in isrg, no competitive products, difficult entry and large profits from replacement tools. If more and more operations are performed and they spread out fda? approval for more procedures this looks like a winner long term.

I wonder if General Electric or Medtronics are watching with interest for potential buyout. Let's hope not for some time.
