Esentially unprecedented, and quite silly, IMHO (and I'm sure that of most). Windfall Profit taxes would only ensure less and more expensive oil. Eight cents on the dollar. There's your oil company margin. Federal and state taxes? MUCH MORE ALREADY! Dan B.
