Could a draft Condi movement sweep the secretary of state into the presidency? Are we on the verge of pitting 2 of America's most popular and controversial women against each other? In '08 will we elect a very liberal, polarizing woman, or will we take a giant leap forward by electing not just the first U.S. woman Pres, but also the first African American woman to lead the free world? Inquiring minds want to know. Condi is my candidate...I think SHE really is one of the smartest women in America..

Really glad to see you posting again! LB could use your voice as well. As for what I think the most important issue is "today"...hands down, the ILLEGAL aliens who are flooding into our country unchecked! We have NO idea of who they are and what their background is.... The very idea of sponsoring a rally with one or ten million people in the streets telling people that ILLEGALS have a right to be here is so far beyond anything I could have imagined, the whole thing makes me beyond upset!! They could run a rally in their own country, against their own President and people, not ours. I help LEGAL immigrants to this country....with clothing, with money, or equipment, or to learn English. So does one of the large National groups I belong to....BUT ALL of us are incensed that Mexicans and who knows what other people are flooding in... Do we make our borders safe NOW, or do we just open border? IF we don't make them safe NOW, why don't we save at least on a temp basis, all the Homeland Security money....After all, if we don't know who is coming in.... WHY should we do anything else? I would NOT support Hillary. She is a dangerous woman, IMO. Plus she doesn't know where she stands from one instant to another....FLIPFLOP PLOP! I really think some of our elected Reps in DC have pablum for brains, and that's being kind. Re Condi and Hillary....I tend to believe Condi when she says she won't run....but would like to see her do it....I'd support her totally....she's brilliant, and has every attribute to become President of the US.
