Yep, and when the master had a baby with one of the slaves they made him the foreman. I think you're putting blame on the welfare system for breaking up families. But the ultimate blame has to go to the fathers. And the second amount of blame goes to society for not allowing blacks the kind of jobs that they could raise a family on. The reason that they didn't have aid to whole families as the republicans howled at that one. So only ADC was allowed.
