I was in one of those classes although it was called Advanced Economics, not Logic"

The class isn't that bad. But you have to understand the material as it comes up because it the early stuff is required for the later. You can't skip classes, not do the homework and crack the book the night before the test and expect to pass.

Exactly like the one I was in........except I did think it was bad because I had to have at least a B in the class. I had yet to be accepted into grad school and I wanted to show As and Bs in my endorsement classes.

What I ended up doing was interrupting the instructor a lot during the class. He was from NYC and spoke very quickly like Hitler was in Spokane and moving west. Most of the class barely understood him. Since I had gone to school at Syracuse, I had some familiarity with the accent. The other students would come up to me after class thanking me for interrupting him and slowing him down. <g>

The really fun day was the final.........there had been a jock and a cheerleader in the class who stopped coming after the midterm. Fifteen minutes into the final they gave up and took their exam up to the front near where I was sitting and told the instructor they didn't do too well. He looked real quickly at both exams and said: "Yup.......you're right.......you both flunked. And given that your midterm grades were not that hot, you both have just flunked the course". They were in shock and started to object. He told them that there are people taking a final and they needed to leave. I am not sure what the jock and cheerleader expected but I guess they didn't expect the guy to be such a hardass.
