It's funny you say that....I just said nearly the same thing to my husband not too many days ago. I've always wanted to go see places in this country that I haven't seen... That's what Steinbecks book was about...He traveled around America with his dog Charlie, and actually stopped and met the people in the community he was in. That would be just so much fun! He even did his own laundry by putting it in a bucket with soap and water, and let it juggle itself clean during the day as he was traveling in his truck. Now, trucks and me aren't a good team. But there are lots of other modes of transportation that are comfortable and fun!
