That kind of pain tolerance could be dangerous....Pain is usually a reminder to us that all isn't well, and we need to heed the advice our Doc just gave us, or that we instinctively know.... The Docs told me long ago that my tolerance was high as well, but that it was sometimes a big hindrance. I thought I was being brave one of the times, as I did feel pain, but wanted to not whine about it. Turns out, if I had dealt with it as I should have, I wouldn't have had such a bad infection, that landed me in the hospital for a week with lots of meds to try to get rid of it....

You were probably that way as a kid too...Must have scared your folks several times....

Good Lord! You've been through the wringer!

You could have more endorphines then most people have. Either way, I'd say you are luckly not to fell all the pain you could have felt.
