All of Bush's remarks on the oil crisis during the past week seems to deride the American people for their love of the environment and refusing the energy lobby the exploration of oil in the pristine areas of the Arctic. His remarks are tantamount to telling the American people the following: "You folks need to suffer through high oil prices since you are refusing my oil friends the drilling of the Arctic."
