Re: "My powers of perception are generally low when a manipulative politician is speaking."

That's sad, for thus you can't really decipher truth from fiction.

You don't understand. I dim down when a particularly manipulative politician is speaking. You might consider doing the same; it might help you realize how 'off' your position is.

Re: "What's interesting is that you get his message loud and clear."

A truism: All politicians are manipulative. If you don't get their messages loud and clear, you'll never be able understand how manipulative they are. As for the war in Iraq, that's something which my personal common sense leads me to support. If we don't act against aggressive terrorists - yes terrorists - like Saddam indubitably was, we're cooked.

Yes, centering all our resources on one country while draining the national treasury is really a brilliant way to fight terrorism.....and forget all the other bennies like sky high oil prices. What you dudes don't seem to realize or are unwilling to incorporate into your thinking is that terrorism is not new to the world nor the human condition. It has existed as long as man has lived on the planet.

Yes, we got hit with 9/11........it was inevitable and long overdue. So frigging what? Boo hoo hoo. You all think you're going to punish the world because of your big boo-boo? Get over it. First, we need to get butthole dubya out of office and then we need to do the job right. Either get with the program or step aside. You've had your chance and you all have failed miserably.
