Repubs need to realize they were lied to and used by the Bush spin room and Limbaugh-Hannity echo chamber. Especially exploited and duped were the religious conservatives and workingclass Republicans. All that stuff they were told in 2000-2004 was BS. Bushies didn't really give a damn about them except on voting day.

The rich Republicans who are selfish and greedy have done fine. They have been rewarded just for being rich and not called on to sacrifice anything.

I had asked a right winger on these threads why Bush cannot think of a mistake he made. And that person proceeded to say how if he admitted to any, the Democrats would pounce on that. Seems to me that line of reasoning ignores the meaning of the term "fact". A fact is a fact whether someone agrees with it or not. That he went as declared "Mission Accomplished" before its time, that he even declared to send in the US troops even before the international inspectors finished their search etc. etc. is there for all of us to see and decide. But by not admitting it, he provides more fodder for his opponents to brand him a bigger idiot than he is making those mistakes.
