What confuses me Gib, regarding people looking at bush, cheny or nixon, is that most of these people seem quite capable of understanding things much more complicated than seeing bush, cheney or Nixon for who they are.

To see bush, cheny and nixon for what they are/were is so strightforward. For the venel it is understandable, but what about the pure of heart? What are they seeing when they look at these men and see good men?
