"What is greed?"

greed is the FEAR of not getting or keeping something one doesn't need and/or have right to.

Dak,
Your reasoning at times seems complex to me. We each have our own values. Myself I see a hummer as greed. If I had 60K or more to spend on a car I could get happy with a 15K car and get even happier by giving the remaining 45K to a charitable cause.

Right now we are a three person family with three cars. Maybe that makes us greedy in others minds. But the total value of those three cars would be 6K to sell and 8 K if we had to buy them. And I am still happy with my 2K car.

As I have said my next car upgrade will be a nicer bicycle. More greed.

Tom
