Greg or e,

Thank you for posting the article. It illustrates perfectly what I have been saying. This fella calls himself a Christian for 22 years. He is clearly a know-nothing Protestant. I wonder how many times in 22 years he has even bothered to read the 89th Psalm? How many times has he read Hebrews?

Listen to his cheap irreverence toward his Lord and Savior!

"Try Jesus, you'll like Him." Well, frankly, I've been a Christian for 22 years and there are a lot of times I don't particularly like Jesus. He is not my favorite guy sometimes. He is not the kind of guy you like, in a sense."

God forbid Orthodox should speak disgustingly with such irreverence! The Lord Christ Jesus should not be spoken of as "some guy" or "the kind of guy"!

God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all them that are about him. (Psalms 89:7)

let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: For our God is a consuming fire. (Hebrews 12:28-29)

As I said, the divine Scriptures are a treasure map. If you search the Scriptures daily, you will know to avoid the teachings of vain babblers like this poor fellow who in ignorance speaks so irreverently of his Lord.
