If we’re going to blame any institution for expensive fuel, blame the government. Perhaps states should propose the withdrawal of their own state and local gasoline taxes. Or maybe the federal government should cancel their excise taxes. They wouldn’t want to do that though... cut into their own revenues... Someone else should have to pay...

Great idea by Frist! He doesn't want to tax the BILLIONS in profits made by the oil companies. Instead he suggests that we ROB OUR OWN KIDS, and to add insut to injury, send that money to the oil companies -- adding BILLIONS MORE to their coffers.
