If it is political Rush was under no obligation to cut a deal. He could have fought it and, if innocent, won. Don't you think a jury would have acquited him? I don't. I think the facts of multiple doctors and thousands of pills would have sunk him. Not to mention that as to his intent or knowledge of breaking the law some of his past statements could have been admitted. that would not have helped him

the guy is an addict. He will be fighting this addiction for the rest of his life. He needs to admit it fully and then work on it every day for the rest of his life.
