I have voted for Ralph a couple of times, mostly because I want to see the third party issues get into the debates, not because I think Ralph would be a good pres. I think it would be more realistic to support someone like that in Congress... for starters.

I agreed with Ralph more than I did Kerry or Bush. But Ralph really doesn't have a shot just because of his personality quirks. And he likes to wait until a couple of months before the election to decide to run which is too late.

A agree with libertarian philosophy quite a bit, but then they come up with a candidate. They seem to have more than their fair share of loonies.

Extrapolating from your last thought. That's the only practical way we'll have parties beyond the Dems and Reps. A party has to build at the local/state level; move to Congress to become a viable party.

There's an outside chance that the electorate is so fed up with Congress that a third party move for 2008 is possible. They best start up now.

I applaud your want to vote for Ralph. But don't you think we all should vote for a president who'll control the FCC such that we don't get a double dose increase in decible volume to television commericals? Maybe Republicans haven't noticed the decible difference since Bush got in--but I certainly have? Howza 'bout any of you folks--notice the difference?

As mundane as the issue above is--particularly compared to all of the world and nation's serious problems--this one would probably get the most mileage in the ham and egg spots Everywhere, USA.

And guess what? Might even be reason enough to actually elect a third party president--lol!
