A minute after Maria Bartiromo dropped her ill-timed Bernanke bombshell, the pits behind her at the Merc got so frenzied she couldn't even hear herself during her interview with Chicago Fed's Moskow. "Seems like something is going on behind us...all of a sudden" she said. Clueless. Priceless.

Bernanke has no credibility.

If 2 years ago 5% rates would be enough to contain inflation, now it would take at least 8%.

To pause now, with inflation raging out of control borders on insanity.

My fear is that we are leaving 7-8% inflation environment and launching into low teens as we speak.

If nothing changes, dollar will be replaced before the end of the decade.
