Well it's all about volume volume volume. In Europe they have extensive public transportation. Many people don't own cars. So they can raise the price there and really gouge the folks that do. They don't have that same leverage here in the US...yet...but they're working on it. When you have a product that everyone wants and needs, you can continue to raise the price till it starts to affect demand, then raise it some more to see if you can. That's where we are now. They're going to see how much they can milk us for. There's no oil shortage. They certainly don't want to lose any money...and record profits prove that isn't happening. Orca
