True, I visited such activists' site once. Not unthinkable, when comparing to furs. Some decades ago women would have done anything for a coat. Old lol: Geez! What a coat, what had you to do for it? Nothing, just make the sleeves a bit shorter. Tell it propaganda, or social change, it is now considered un-natural to kill animals for their skin. Haute couture now eventually offers printed fabrics. Owning gold could be considered an asocial behaviour. Wouldn't surprise me a bit.
