General Motors and Ford are both in a self-created financial mess that threatens their survival. They WILL, however, survive and prosper again. And the solutions will seem brutal to the thousands they have to tell to take a hike. Agencies of the Federal government NEVER have to calculate their survival. Conservatives are awestruck by the useless WASTE of that. Liberals are seduced by the potential VOTES from those MILLIONS who have no reason to be employed (Shall we call it "Phillippsism"?). Ripping Washington down and bulldozing the former site is NOT the worst solution. TERM LIMITS for Congress are, however, are far more practical one...
