The Iraq war was unnecessary, especially the way it was done, with the huge unilateral occupation which practically guaranteed failure and got over 2000 US troops killed.

Kerry warned us on HARDBALL at bthe Citadel before the invasion. I remember it clearly. He asked the cadets "Why not wait six months to better prepare and be sure for the security of our troops? Why not built a broad coalition and let the inspectors finish their jobs" The war hungry cadets agreed, though they had fallen under the post 9-11 Bush-Cheney spell.

Some of Bush Sr's top expert advisors also warned us. But Cheney knew there were tens of billions waiting for his company and cronies in Iraq, so he pushed all the lies over and over, and even destroyed one of the CIA's top Iran nuclear agents when her husband blew the whistle on just a few of Bush-Cheney's lies.

Bush-Cheney deserve the harshest possible punishments for what they did to mislead us into that war, and all the other laws they've broken. First, it's time to make an example of Cheney. That man is a traitor.
