Penntrade is no. 1 IMO. Used them for over 5 years now.

One thing: I don't think they are approved in every state....so chech them out...

I am a yank and use TD ameritrade's Canadian desk, but was told they are not taking new customers for Canadina stocks?? I can still trade.

I do. Once you set your account - can take some time though - it's great. Very cheap (if you don't trade with big money.
