Bush-Cheney ARE Big Oil/Industry and dont care about you. or our country. Or our future. Or our environment. What putting those two in charge (by cheating, of course) was to basically hijack the nation and hand it over to the grossest kinds of gougers, looters and corporate crooks. Big Oil/Industry took over. That's why the Dubai Ports deal was more important to them than taking care of people after Katrina. Why doubling energy prices was more important than saving you money. Why they don't mind bankrupting the government with 7 trillion in enw debt. Why they didn't care what lies they had to tell to take over Iraq, because Iraq has huge oilfields (which Halliburton now runs) and the defense industry could make hundreds of billions as well. You've heard of de-regulation, well Bush-Cheney have brought in UN-regulation. That is no laws or rules apply any more, like in a Third World dictatorship. Anything industrial pals of the regime want, they get, though they have to pay off the corrupt politicians, thereby owning them. In fact, industry under a Bush-Cheney regime own and control almost everything. In fact, Big Oil doesn't even need lobbyists anymore, they have cut out the middleman and put their lobbyists in the White House. They had congress too until Delay was indicted. And election day a problem? Well just use Diebold machines and Rovian dirty tricks. Maybe even start a new war to cow the public into believing afraid to question. All in the name of what was once called "America" but now should be called Exxonica. The only good news is that The People have woken up so we do have a good chance of busting these crooks now. But the damage will be done. Many trillions worth.
