Israel discovered after much pain that the only way to fight terror was with cold hearted brutal reactions--an eye for an eye or fight fire with fire. They have effectively reduced terror to a trickle. But what they do often doesnt play well on TV, particularly when you get a bleeding heart journalist in the mix. Many of the left are bleeding hearts, including me. I too feel sympathy for the pal family whose house gets bulldozed because their son blew up a dozen kids at a disco. But i accept it and understand it. Others don't.
