The gas gouging started as Bush-Cheney came into power. The oil companies were behaving themselves in the 90's. The reason for this is clear. If your best buddy becomes Sheriff you get a get out of jail free card.

And they are different from the "socialists" in Congress how? The only reason I ask is because not once have you called the GOP in Congress socialists nor barely complained about their spendthrift habits. What is with you and the Dems? Did a Dem steal a girlfriend from you?
