Do you consider Sancerre and Muscadet wines snob wines? I think of Muscadet as a simple Loire valley wine with a stoney quality that is great for oysters and is generally very inexpensive. Why would you consider it a snob wine? German wines are difficult for stores to stock, but that is what a good distributor is for. I am lucky in that SW Florida has a number of German snowbirds, most wealthy, so many shops carry wines for them. MP
