Burn less fossil fuels, create more clean alternatives, then replace gasoline within 15-20 years.

The 2000-2004 Bush era where he championed "the American way of life", (promoting gas guzzling, pollution, rampant wasteful over-consumption, making fun of environmentalism and alternative energy, poo-pooing conservation and efficiency) has to end now. The critics in 2000 who called Bush-Cheney "energy dinosaurs" were right. And when Bush made fun of Gore's book "Earth in Balance" he was wrong.

Actually this wasteful and irresponsible era should have ended 20-30 years ago, but we Americans rarely act with such foresight, we usually wait until there's a disaster then finally resign ourselves to changing. But whatever, better late than never. The time for change is now. Teach your children and adjust your lifestyle accordingly.
