since more taxes are generated per gal them oil company profits, How about the politicians give back half their pay

There is about ten cents profit on every gallon of gas, cutting salaries might save about a cent, big deal! While Exxon profits have tripled in the last few years due to GOOD MANAGEMENT, the TAXES on those profits have QUADRUPLED while the government did nothing different. I am so tired of people picking on hard working oil field employees who actually produce something useful, why not vent some of that anger onto overpaid sports stars or media personalities who produce absolutely nothing of real value.
