It wouldn't surprise me one bit if Venezuela's production was dropping. However, what I don't get is why people would be counting them out as they have huge tar sands reserves even rivaling Canada's.

Wouldn't it be ironic that it might be Chavez that changes (reverses) the South American investment climate soon after Bolivia nationalizes by trying to attract investment dollars for its Orinoco tar sands.

No we're not....SUV's make great shelter for the soon-to-be homeless. Maybe we can start offering mortgage deductions for car loans....
