Well, cleaning up the old deck isn't too bad a project. A handful of screws Three 12' lengths of cedar decking (my deck is not fir as I had imagined <g>) A couple of lag bolts to shore up a rail post A gallon of a cholorine bleach mixture A stiff brush. My cost, about $50. I'll spend another $50 this summer to seal it after a little sanding here and there. Fixing and cleaning will put the Trex out of your mind--waste not want not and all that.
