The rightwing is trying to blame all of the disasters of the Bush era on Mexicans, legal, illegal, doesn't matter, they're brown-skinned "subhumans" and they're "destroying America". Or maybe it's just a desperate attempt to change the subject since they just had 4 years in power and blew it big-time. I have seen so much disinformation in the past few days smearing Mexicans are "corrupt, "lazy", shiftless", "sponging off social programs", "dirty", etc. it reminds me of the Jim Crow era in the south where they said the exact same things about blacks. One thing I can promise you, this smear attempt will not work. For one thing, Bush-Delay didn't do a damn thing about the problem until they fell to 33% approvals. Second, this has pissed off the 40% of Hispanics who were starting to vote Republican, and don't expect them to do it again.
