The last time France tried sanctions, Iraqi citizens starved ... and the "Oil For Food" scandal was born. Thanks to the French, of course. That the US staunchily opposed UN initiatives on sanctions against Iraq is completely lost on you. For years France and other nations tried to relax selectively these sanctions to reduce the effect on civilians and particularly children, and for as many years the US vetoed and stimied the effort. Unfortunately U are not unlike the typical uninformed wingnut...sad frankly that you run around with these un-facts in your head. Al
