A nuclear attack on the US would have apocalyptic ramifications.

We need to do lots of things, all at the same time. More drilling, build more refineries, build more fuel efficient cars, and

.have our Government make signs available for every lawn and gas station stating :

For every one Dollar you spend on gas: Big Number cents goes to the country it came from; 2nd Big Number goes to the commodities speculators, 18.4 cents goes to Federal Tax, and (in the case of WA) 31 (soon to be 34) cents goes to the State....etc etc....

Pretty soon, people if they have any sort of sense, would know the dollars they are spending are not only going to the oil companies who put in the pipelines, build the rigs and man them, pay salaries and benefits, and get the product to the local retailers....

Edit: There is another thing that most folks don't pay attention to as far as oil companies are concerned> At least 65-75% of their products are sold OUTSIDE the US....

And one more thing: Is it true that Mexican companies are being allowed to drill off our shore for oil,......and that our companies are not allowed to drill there because WE (environmentalists) have stopped them from drilling?
