There is little confidence in the greenback at this point for good reason and today was a perfect illustration.

I agree there is no shortage of fundamental reasons to be bearish on the dollar, but I have to say how surprised I am at how many people are still under the impression that the dollar is actually falling - it hasn't been the case for over a year now.

The continued bearishness in light of the rally in the dollar suggests it could rally to correct the decline from 2001-2004 for some time. Whenever so many are so sure that something will happen, it might be better to look the other way - no matter how absurd it might seem at the time.
