Scott Ritter was smeared just like Valerie Plame was. Likely, he was totally innocent, and definitely he was right about Iraq's WMD and the Bushies were wrong. Worse, the Bushies knew it but persecuted and smeared him anyway. I don't know Ritter myself so I can't vouch for him, but I do know how the Bushie bastards smeared anyone who disagreed with them. Everything they said about Joe Wilson for instance turned out to be total lies. Wilson was a hero, and one of Bush Sr'.s favorite people.
