Yeah, the rollover is gone. Well, what the hell? A quarter to a half a mil profit every 2 years is enuf. You would just have to be resigned to the fact that you would be moving down, not up, since the next place will have appreciated that much over the same time frame. But you could fix it up really nicely with that kind of cash, and have money to burn. Or a Hummer? Or move out of state (and way up)and keep the loot:>) Go to one of those places without a bubble. Sell your house in Atherton or Beverly Hills and buy Nebraska, and live off the remainder :>)
