AS much as I hate it, I agree with AS! A fence won't work. The Great Wall didn't work in China either. Crossings went down in San Diego, but way UP in the eastern desert and in AZ. I lived in SD when they built the wall. If we want to stop the illegals immigrants, we have to criminalize the employers, give them a way to easily identify the nationality of employees, and start cracking down HARD on those that don't. The program should include a PR campaign demonizing the enabling employers for promoting crime, and publicizing the names of those caught doing so. THEY are the cause of illegal immigration. If you don't build it ( jobs for illegal immigrants ), they won't come.
