S2 <A19: Payne Stewart is my all-time favorite golfer> I think the reason people loved Payne is that he always reflected genuine emotion when he played - like most people do when they play. When he dumped one, he'd scowl and get mad. When he drained one for a win, there was nothing more gratifying to watch than Payne bursting with pure joy - the original fist-pump came from Payne. These homogenous young players with the mechanically coached swings, droning on in interviews, coiffed hair, and generally nondescript behavior could all take a lesson from Payne. Yes, he died tragically too early - but our boy Payne didn't leave anything on the table when he left. You picked a great one S2. A19
