The very fact that we even have to apologize and be compelled to declare that we're not being racist by our comments is caused by the very subculture I mentioned... there is no reason anyone should have to apologize for making any comments, but the race card has been played so many times by American Blacks that it unfortunately has become part of the mainstream thinking, if you ever want to mention Blacks, you have to apologize for it... and within the Black culture, if you try to succeed, you're and uncle tom or selling out to whitey... that kind of subculture mentality has only divided this country...

The history of the US is why this occurs. First they are brought here as slaves. Then there is the civil war and there is hope. Then power in the south goes back to the racists and the brutal Jim Crowe period which is really the reinstitution of slavery ensues. In the north immigrants leap past uneducated blacks.
Then finally the civil rights movement begins in earnest but its headed by liberals who create mass dependency on the govt. No wonder military, prisons, welfare, government employment are we find may blacks today instead of the private sector. But the good news is that this is changing. Before we blame the liberals for this last part, remember that the cons of that day were often racist and many strongly opposed civil rights legislation for all the wrong reasons including silly libertarian thinking.
