So, to summarize, we now have a Congress proposing to do exactly what our worst enemies would like us to do — subsidize our addiction to gasoline by breaking into our kids' piggybanks to make it easier for us to pay the prices demanded by our oil pushers, so that we will remain addicted and they will remain awash in dollars.

One of WA state's senators is part of the pandering crowd. Unfortunately, for her, she is up for re-election this year and she is having a very hard time raising money due to her voting record. I have written an email to her office telling them that if she doesn't change her positions on Iraq and illegal immigration, and her allignment with Bush on other issues, then I won't vote for her. If we are going to have a senator with a neocon attitude, it might as well be the real thing instead of a wannabee.
