07:44 EP El Paso: Earnings Color (13.49 ) -Update-

Reuters Estimates is telling us that, excluding $162 mln of non-cash, mark-to-market gains on derivatives intended to manage the price risk of Exploration and Production segment's natural gas and oil production and a $49 mln, non-cash gain associated with the assignment of two natural gas supply contracts, an actual of $0.30 per share is comparable to analysts' estimates, meaning EP beat the $0.26 consensus.

Thanks for the heads up on EP. After reading your good news reports, I noticed that price was pulling back on profit taking. I decided to buy the pull back and entered the stock at $14.60.

I wouldn't have picked up on EP until after the close, so your heads up helped me out. Again, thanks!
