<<.....denickerer,,,>> Watch your language there, Freep....LOL

I rarely pay any attention to volume in the indexes, Freep..partly I guess because of the way their charts are configured in my service..

I do not get data on any intraday bites.....only for the day as a whole.....I can now, e.g. , see the total of today's volume in SPX, as of now, plus, of course, total volume yesterday and previous days........but I cannot see volume in, say, any hourly, or 30min. period today or any previous days.

However, I would nevertheless expect that any 3 launches/breakouts would be reflected in volume upsurges...and their absence could raise questions about the validity of the move...

Question right now is indeed the presence of such launches/breakouts....Not all crystal clear yet, in that respect....and even if so, could still be in some fairly early stages where the move is not yet fully ready to go.....

Seems to me as of now that any 3ish moves present today are centered in DOW and SPX.....and not sure they "leave any question about what's going on"...???

MC....always forced to stop and think by those Freepishly harassing (note spelling) commentaries...LOL

3ish nature of Dow advance today...??

DOW up 138.88, up 1.21%

29 stocks up; 1 stock down...

6 stocks up > 2%
12 stocks up 1-2%
7 stocks up .50-.99%
4 stocks up <.50%

That is an extraordinarily strong pattern......
