Tourism and Real Estate... tourism and real estate. (I think we can assume that they are sincere in their opposition --- they have stated it often enough, and made political donations accordingly --- and they would not be opposed unless they believed that their financial interests were involved....) And, not just 'Disney' (I use them as a sort of 'shorthand' to indicate the local business interests who are opposed)... more precisely: the retirees along ther coasts, the real estate developers, the hotel interests, tourism in general, most agricultural and fishing interests, etc. Just check with the local Chamber of Commerce in Florida --- you will find a different balance of business interests there then in, say, Texas or Louisiana. (Not a whole lot of retirees and vacationers along the 'golden sands' of Louisiana. :)
