Pot is less dangerous and addictive than these powerful pills, as well as hard drugs and legal drugs alcohol and tobacco. That said, abuse of any drug is bad. Everything in moderation. An occasional joint will not hurt you one bit.

If pot were to be legalized it would have to be tightly regulated and the taxes made from it used to wipe out hard drug use. It would save our society billions every year.

The real point is that it makes no sense for our law enforcement to be wasting so much time and money busting marijuana users and small-time dealers. They should be concentrating on crimes which really harm society.

Also remember, pot may be the only drug which so far as I know has never killed anyone. It has killed some ambition maybe, but that's about it.

Finally, know why pot is really illegal? Because the corporate special interests want it illegal, especially the big pharmas who don't want people growing free plants and self-medicating without expense, and the paper industry. The latter wants hemp illegal because it could be used to make all our paper. Hemp should be legalized immediately. It makes zero sense to outlaw it.
